About Arthur Kay

aKa Web Design is the online portfolio of Arthur Kay. With more than 10 years of web development experience, I'm well-equipped to handle all of the technical and creative details that an effective website needs to power your business.

I don't build websites using standard templates or pre-written code - everything I do is custom built because no two businesses are the same. I work directly with all of my clients to deliver a high quality product that meets the unique requirements for each project.

As a freelance developer, aKa Web Design (that's me!) has the ability to offer web design services at very affordable price. Pricing is typically estimated on a per-project basis, but smaller projects are quoted at $60.00 per hour. Small business website packages start between $700 and $1000.

My Story

I've been a nerd for a really long time. I began writing computer code in BASIC at an early age on an Apple IIc and started building websites in high school. Later, I studied Computer Science at Loyola University Chicago and I've been working in web development ever since. I'm currently working as Senior Web Developer for GFX International in Grayslake, IL.
